OMG Cupcakes NYC

Allergies abound in the NYC area.  In my daughter's preschool class of 21 there are three cases of severe allergies.  Bringing in treats or celebrating a birthday can be rough.  On my hunt for vegan, gluten-free treats I found OMG Cupcakes. I was gobsmacked by these goodies.
Last night my husband and I sat down with eight cupcakes. We traded back and forth between the standard (read awesome) cupcakes and the vegan, gluten-free offerings.  It's a rough job, but somebody has to do it. Our take: Frankly we liked the VGF better!  The red velvet cupcake is all I want for my next birthday party.  Organic? Really? How the mother/daughter baking team of Nella Liska and Andie Markoe-Byrne pull it off is pure magic. The cupcakes were gorgeous and loaded with melt in your mouth icing.
