The New Victory Theater Spring Family Workshops

Embrace the arts this spring with one of the New Vic Studio Family Workshops, where families can discover new skills! The family that performs together stays together. Every workshop is inspired by a show from the current New Vic season and taught in a Broadway studio by one of the Theater’s Teaching Artists, including choreographer Seán Curran, and puppetry and mask artist Spica Wobbe.


Workshops include: “Tappin’ Feet” in conjunction with the dance production Time Step by New York’s Parallel Exit, “Parade Puppets” and “Mask Masters” in conjunction with the play Elephant, by Dodgy Clutch Theater Company (UK) in association with the Market Theatre (Johannesburg, South Africa), and “Creative Movement,” inspired by the interactive theater piece, The Butterfly Garden by T.P.O. Company (Prato, Italy).

Tappin’ Feet: April 17 at 11:30AM, 3:30PM; Best for ages 6 and up.
Mask Masters: April 24 at 11:30AM & April 25 at 2:00PM; Best for ages 7 and up.
Parade Puppets: April 24 at 3:30PM & April 25 at 10:00AM; Best for ages 7 and up.
Creative Movement: May 14 at 4:30PM & May 15 at 12:00PM, 2:00PM; Best for ages 3 to 8.
